Ado Piso WiFi Pause, Portal, Admin Login and Setup Guide (AdoPiSoft)

Ado Piso WiFi software is now called AdoPiSoft, and everything it does starts at the address 10.0.0.1. If your minutes keep running or the portal will not load, that address is where you fix it.

Customers use the captive portal at 10.0.0.1 to insert coins, enter a voucher and pause time when they step away. Owners manage the machine from the admin panel at 10.0.0.1/admin. The default username and password for that panel are both admin.

AdoPiSoft listed 306,625 active machines on its homepage in October 2026. That reach means the same steps apply to Ado vendos in sari-sari stores and barangays across the country. We start with the customer side of piso wifi. After that, we walk owners through login, vouchers, rates, setup, wiring and licenses, using AdoPiSoft’s own guides as the source.

What is AdoPiSoft (Ado Piso WiFi)?

AdoPiSoft is piso wifi vendo software that turns a small board and a coin slot into a coin-operated WiFi hotspot. It started under the name Ado Piso WiFi and now goes by ADOPISOFT, so both names refer to the same Ado software.

The company behind it is Flarego Technologies Corp, based in Danao City, Cebu, and its founder is Adones Bejoc Pitogo. You can get the software images and setup guides on adopisoft.com. AdoPiSoft also runs its own forum, wiki, blog and online shop for owners.

AdoPiSoft also works through 139 official distributors across the Philippines. Owners who want to try it before paying can start with the free Community Edition, which runs on the Flarewifi Platform.

How does an Ado Piso WiFi vendo work?

An Ado Piso WiFi vendo works by turning the coins you drop into a timed or metered internet session for your phone. The coin slot, also called a coin acceptor, sends pulses for each 1, 5 or 10 peso coin. AdoPiSoft counts those pulses, adds the matching credit and opens a session for your device.

Owners choose how they sell that access, using any of these options.

  • Time Rates give minutes of internet for each coin.
  • Data Rates give megabytes instead of minutes.
  • Time with Data Capping gives minutes with a data ceiling, and the session ends when either one runs out.
  • Subscription gives weekly, biweekly or monthly access with no time or data limit.
  • Vouchers let customers pay at the counter and type a code instead of dropping coins.
  • E-load lets customers buy Globe, Smart, Sun, TNT, TM, DITO, GCash Cash-in, Meralco Prepaid and Cignal products from the same Ado vendo machine.

The machine recognizes your phone by its MAC address, which keeps your remaining time tied to your device. As a sari-sari store or barangay vendo grows, the owner can add a bill acceptor, a sub vendo or more access points. The Bandwidth Limiter then stops one heavy user from slowing everyone else down.

How do you open the AdoPiSoft portal?

You open the AdoPiSoft portal by joining the Ado Piso WiFi hotspot and waiting for the captive portal pop-up, or by typing 10.0.0.1 in your browser. The portal is where you pay, check your remaining time and pause.

  1. Open your phone’s WiFi settings and pick the hotspot network name (SSID). AdoPiSoft’s setup guide uses AdoPisoWifi as the default name, but the owner may rename it.
  2. Wait a few seconds for the captive portal pop-up to open by itself.
  3. If nothing opens, type 10.0.0.1 in your browser.
  4. Pay with the Insert Coin, Buy Voucher or GCash button, then start browsing.

Each owner picks which buttons appear, so your portal may have fewer than others. Common ones are View Rates, Vouchers, Buy E-load, Charging and Chat. If you have a voucher, the Activate Voucher form is where you type the code.

Some machines also offer My Account for regular customers. It holds a customer wallet, your own vouchers and your payment logs. Signing up takes a phone number and a one-time code sent by text.

Is 10.0.0.1 the AdoPiSoft portal address?

10.0.0.1 is the AdoPiSoft portal address on standard machines, and it only opens while your phone is connected to that vendo’s WiFi. The Ado Piso WiFi IP address is a private local address and the default gateway of the hotspot. It is not a public website, so it cannot load from anywhere else.

Customers use plain 10.0.0.1, while owners add /admin to reach the owner panel at 10.0.0.1/admin. That admin page stays locked to anyone without the owner’s password.

A mistyped address is a common reason the page fails. Versions like 10.0 0.1, 10.0.0.0.1 and 10.10 0.1 never load, so always type four numbers separated by three dots. If it still will not load, work through these fixes.

  • Mobile data is on. Turn it off so your phone uses the vendo’s WiFi.
  • A VPN is running. Switch it off, because a VPN skips the local network.
  • The browser adds https. Type http://10.0.0.1 so the page loads over plain http.
  • You joined another network. Reconnect to the vendo’s WiFi and try again.
  • The machine just restarted. Wait a few minutes for it to finish booting.

What is the 10.0.0.1/captive-portal page?

The 10.0.0.1/captive-portal page is the login screen your phone opens by itself when it joins an Ado vendo’s WiFi. Its full address usually reads 10.0.0.1/captive-portal/default/index.html. Some customers see the same Ado captive portal under the name ado.wifi instead.

Android and iPhone both run captive portal detection. When a network holds back the internet until you sign in, the phone pops up this page on its own. It is the same portal you reach at 10.0.0.1, so you can pay, check your time or pause there.

If the pop-up looks blank or closes too fast, open your regular browser and type 10.0.0.1. Pop-up windows are small, limited browsers, so the portal is easier to use in a normal tab.

How do you insert coins?

You insert coins by tapping Insert Coin on the portal first, then dropping your coins before the payment countdown ends. This Ado Piso WiFi insert coin step matters, because the machine only counts coins it is ready for.

  1. Open the portal at 10.0.0.1.
  2. Tap the Insert Coin button.
  3. Drop your coins while the countdown runs. Each one plays the coin inserted sound if the owner has sounds turned on.
  4. Check that your credit shows the right minutes or data.
  5. Confirm to start your session.

The owner sets how many seconds the machine waits for payment. Tapping Insert Coin again and again without paying can get your device suspended for a while, so only tap it when your coins are ready.

Each coin’s value comes from the owner’s pulse settings, so a coin that adds the wrong credit needs recalibrating. Some machines also run an internet check before coins can be inserted. When the shop’s internet is down, the portal will not take coins, so nobody pays for a dead connection.

How do you use a voucher code?

You use a voucher code by opening the portal at 10.0.0.1, typing the code into the Activate Voucher form and confirming it. Owners sell Ado Piso WiFi voucher codes at the counter, and some portals also sell them through the Buy Voucher button.

Each voucher follows the settings the owner chose when making it. Its expiration runs on top of the usable time, so an unused code can still expire. Maximum Users Per Voucher decides how many people can share one code.

Pausing depends on the voucher too. Pause only works on vouchers made with Allow Pause turned on, so ask the seller before you plan to pause.

Why does the portal block your device?

The portal blocks your device when you tap Insert Coin too many times without paying. AdoPiSoft does this so one phone cannot keep the coin slot busy while others wait to pay.

  • Why it happens. Each Insert Coin tap that ends without a coin counts as a failed payment. Going past the maximum payment retries suspends the device, and reaching the insert coin max limit triggers an automatic device block.
  • How long it lasts. A suspension lasts for the suspension minutes the owner set in Wifi Rates, and then the portal works again.
  • What the owner can do. Blocked devices appear in the owner’s Wifi Devices list, and the Unblock button lifts the block right away.

The machine tracks you by your phone’s MAC address, so switching browsers does not clear a block. Owners can also turn on Pass Code, which detects MAC cloning and asks for a code before showing a device’s session. If you are stuck, wait out the suspension or ask the owner to unblock you.

How do you pause time on Ado Piso WiFi?

You pause time on Ado Piso WiFi by opening the portal at 10.0.0.1 during a paid session and tapping the pause button. Ado Piso WiFi pause freezes your countdown, so your unused minutes wait for you. You can resume them later, but only on the same device that paid.

  1. Stay connected to the vendo’s WiFi.
  2. Open 10.0.0.1 and check your remaining time.
  3. Tap the pause button and wait until the timer stops.
  4. When you come back, reconnect to the same WiFi and open 10.0.0.1.
  5. Tap Resume and check that your minutes are correct.

AdoPiSoft can also pause for you when the owner turns it on. Auto-pause stops your time when your device disconnects or goes inactive, and auto-resume starts it again when you reconnect. During an internet outage, the machine can pause every session so no one loses paid minutes while the connection is down.

Paused time still has limits. The owner sets a pause limit on how many times you can pause, and unused time ends once the session expiration passes. We recommend tapping pause yourself before you walk away, because you cannot see whether auto-pause is turned on.

Why is Ado Piso WiFi pause not working?

Ado Piso WiFi pause stops working when your session has used up its pause limit, has expired, came from a voucher without pause, or is on a different device. You usually notice it as a pause button that is missing or does nothing. Each pause fix below matches one cause.

  • The pause limit is reached. The owner sets how many pauses a session gets in Session Settings, so ask the owner to raise the limit.
  • The voucher has no pause. Vouchers made without Allow Pause cannot pause, so buy time with coins instead.
  • The session has expired. Expired time cannot pause or resume, so start a new session.
  • You are on a different device. Resume only works on the phone that started the session, so switch back to that phone.

Time with Data Capping sessions also end once the data runs out. That happens even with minutes left, and no pause brings that time back.

How do owners set pause and expiration limits?

Owners set pause and expiration limits in Session Settings, under Session Expiration and Pause Limits. Each credit type gets its own pause limit and its own expiration, which is how long a customer has to use the credit. AdoPiSoft’s defaults apply to time credits of 1 to 2 hours and data credits of 1,000 to 2,000MB.

Credit typeDefault pause limitDefault expiration
Time10 pausesSession time plus 1 hour
Data10 pauses1 day
Time with Data CappingUnlimitedSession time plus 1 hour

A higher pause limit or longer expiration gives customers more freedom. Lower values stop one small payment from stretching across several days.

Session Settings also holds three options that shape daily running. Automatically continue sessions after reboot brings active sessions back after a restart. The internet check before coin insertion stops customers from paying while the internet is down, and WiFi Users Limit caps how many people can connect to the machine at once.

How do you use the AdoPiSoft login?

You use the AdoPiSoft login by connecting to the machine’s WiFi first, then opening 10.0.0.1/admin and signing in with your username and password. This AdoPiSoft admin login is for owners only, and it opens the dashboard where you manage rates, vouchers and sales.

  1. Connect your phone or laptop to the vendo’s WiFi.
  2. Open a browser and type 10.0.0.1/admin.
  3. Enter the admin username and password.
  4. Tap the login button to open the dashboard.

If the customer portal loads instead of a sign-in form, check that /admin is part of the address. Owners on the shop’s router network can also reach the panel at the machine’s WAN IP over Ethernet.

Away from the store, you can sign in through a Remote Management URL once remote access is set up. The manager.adopisoft.com site is a separate login for your AdoPiSoft account and licenses, not the panel of one machine.

What is the default AdoPiSoft admin password?

The default AdoPiSoft admin password is admin, and the default username is also admin. These defaults come straight from AdoPiSoft’s activation guide, and they apply to every fresh install or reflash.

Because the Ado Piso WiFi default password is public, change it after the first login. Anyone on your WiFi who knows it can open your rates, vouchers and sales. If admin and admin do not work, someone has already changed the password, and only that person or a reset can get you back in.

The admin password is not the WiFi password. Customers never need the admin username and password to connect or pay.

How do you change the admin password?

You change the admin password in the Admin menu, under My Profile, by typing a new one in the New Password field and saving it. We recommend doing this before the machine takes its first customer.

  1. Log in at 10.0.0.1/admin.
  2. Open the Admin menu, then My Profile.
  3. Go to Account Details.
  4. Change the Username field if you want a new name.
  5. Type a new password in the New Password field. Tap the eye icon to check it.
  6. Save your changes, then use the new details on your next login.

Store the new password somewhere safe, because AdoPiSoft’s guides list no way to recover it. If a helper runs the store with you, open Accounts in the same Admin menu and use Create Account to add a sub-admin. Their permission checkboxes control what each one can touch, so keep Manage admin accounts (super admin) for yourself only.

How do you reset a forgotten admin password?

You reset a forgotten admin password by reflashing the SD card, because AdoPiSoft’s official guides list no other recovery method. A reflash returns the login to admin and admin, but it also wipes all settings, including rates, vouchers and sales history.

If you forgot the Ado Piso WiFi admin password, ask for help before reflashing. The AdoPiSoft wiki, Facebook community group and forum are the places to ask, or you can contact AdoPiSoft directly.

A backup file makes the reflash much easier. After logging in with admin and admin, restore your backup from Backup/Restore to bring your settings back. Skip restoring Admin Accounts, because that part brings the forgotten password back too. Then re-activate your license with the key from AdoPiSoft Manager.

What can you manage in the Ado Piso WiFi admin dashboard?

The Ado Piso WiFi admin dashboard lets you track sales, see who is online and check the machine’s health in one place. From the same panel you also control sessions, vouchers, e-load and admin accounts, so you can run the vendo from your phone or laptop.

  • Dashboard shows Sales by month, week or day. It also lists Online Customers with paid credit and Connected Users who have not paid yet.
  • Internet Status shows whether the shop’s internet is up or down.
  • Health widgets show WAN Information, LAN Information, Uptime, CPU Speed, RAM Usage and Disk Storage. The Expand Storage button helps when the SD card runs low.
  • Sales Inventory records each sale with its amount, payment type, coin slot, device and date. Filters run from daily to yearly and by voucher, eload, coin, cash, subscription or payment portal, and you can download the sales report.
  • Wifi Devices lets you start, pause or delete a customer’s session, and block or unblock devices.
  • Customer Accounts manages customers who signed up for a wallet.
  • Admin Accounts adds helpers with only the permissions you allow.
  • E-Loading runs your e-load products and purchases.
  • Plugins installs and updates add-on features.

When customers say the WiFi is not working, check Internet Status first. If it shows the internet is down, the problem sits with your ISP or modem rather than the vendo.

How do you create vouchers?

You create vouchers on the Quick Start Vouchers page by choosing a voucher type, setting its limits and picking how many codes to make. Each voucher type limits something different.

Voucher typeWhat it limits
TimeUsable time in days, hours and minutes
DataUsable data in megabytes
Time with data cappingBoth time and data, ending at whichever runs out first
SubscriptionNo time or data limit, because it runs on weekly, biweekly or monthly payments
EloadAn e-load amount, available in the Philippines only

The code settings decide how each code looks. Set a Voucher Code Prefix such as your store initials, then pick a Voucher Charset of alphanumeric, alphabetic, numeric or hex. Voucher Capitalization, Voucher Length and the quantity finish the batch.

The other fields set how each voucher behaves.

  • Expiration is added on top of usable time, so a 7-day voucher with 1 day of expiration ends after 8 days. Ticking No expiration switches it off.
  • Maximum Users Per Voucher limits how many people can share one code.
  • Allow Pause lets buyers pause their time.
  • Download and Upload Speed sets the speed for that voucher.
  • Price Per Voucher records what you charge for each code.

Saved codes appear in Voucher Lists, where Download Spreadsheet exports them and Bulk Edit Vouchers changes many at once. Test one code on your own phone before selling the batch.

How do you set coin rates and speed limits?

You set coin rates in Wifi Rates under Quick Start, and you set speed limits in the Bandwidth Limiter under Network. Together they decide what each peso buys and how fast it runs.

In Wifi Rates, tick Time Rates, Data Rates or Time with Data Capping, then use Add New Rate for each coin. Time uses the h:m:s format, data uses MB, and Philippine Peso is one of the currency options. The same page holds a Free Trial, where you choose time or data, its speeds, and whether it goes to registered users, users without a session or everyone. AdoPiSoft’s own guide gives these example rates.

CoinTimeData
PHP 15 minutes50MB
PHP 530 minutes300MB
PHP 101 hour600MB

The Bandwidth Limiter sets each user’s upload and download speed in kbps, or one global bandwidth limit for the captive portal that everyone shares. This Ado Piso WiFi speed limiter shares the connection fairly when the shop gets busy. For more control, Traffic Shaping uses port prioritization to reserve a bandwidth allocation percent for games or chosen apps. AdoPiSoft does not recommend it on lower-end boards, because the packet filtering uses CPU power.

How do you change the portal design?

You change the portal design in Theme, under Captive Portal, starting with Basic Settings. That page controls everything customers see when they connect.

  • Branding covers the favicon, page title and banner text.
  • Images cover the background image, banners, the popup banner and the banner transition interval.
  • Buttons let you show or hide each portal button.
  • Sounds set the coin inserted chime and other alerts.

There is no dedicated logo field. Upload your portal logo as a banner image, set it as the favicon, or add it with CSS. Using the same banner art on your printed tarpaulin helps customers recognize your store.

For deeper changes, the Code Editor edits the portal’s HTML and CSS. Variants let you keep several designs, and History rollback undoes a bad edit. The Admin Dashboard theme changes the owner side separately.

How do you set up Ado Piso WiFi?

You set up Ado Piso WiFi in six stages, moving from parts to a working test coin. The order matters, because each stage depends on the one before it. AdoPiSoft’s own guide follows this sequence, and the whole build runs on one board, one coin slot, one SD card and an access point.

  1. Prepare Hardware Components and make sure every part is on hand.
  2. Download the AdoPiSoft Software Image for your board and flash it with Balena Etcher.
  3. Wire the power adapter to the coin slot, the power adapter to the board, and the coin slot to the board.
  4. Insert the SD card, add the access point and power on. The first boot takes a few minutes before the WiFi appears.
  5. Create an AdoPiSoft account, then purchase and activate a license when the trial ends.
  6. Configure the Quick Start settings, then test a coin and a session.

Owners who configure Ado Piso WiFi one stage at a time catch mistakes early. A test coin at the end proves the wiring, rates and internet all work before customers arrive.

What parts do you need for the setup?

You need a supported board, a coin slot, an SD card, a power supply and an access point, plus the wiring parts that connect them. AdoPiSoft’s hardware guide lists these requirements.

  • Supported board. A Raspberry Pi or Orange Pi is the usual pick, and the full list of supported boards follows.
  • Power adapter. Use at least 12V 5A, which powers the coin slot directly.
  • Board power. The board needs 5V 3A, or whatever its spec requires.
  • Female DC jack. A 12V jack splits the adapter’s power between the coin slot and the board.
  • Buck converter. It steps 12V down for the board, and it is optional if you power the board with its own adapter.
  • USB power cord. It carries power from the buck converter to the board.
  • Genuine SD card. AdoPiSoft asks for a genuine card of 8GB or more to hold the software image.
  • SD card reader. A good-quality reader avoids corrupted flashes.
  • Programmable coin slot. It calibrates to the coin values you accept.
  • JST connector and Dupont wires. They link the coin slot to the board’s pins.
  • UTP cables. They connect the modem, board and access point.
  • Access point. AdoPiSoft names Comfast, TP-Link and Tenda as examples, either VLAN-capable or paired with a USB-to-LAN adapter.
  • Internet connection. A modem or ONT from your ISP feeds the machine.

In the Philippines, the AdoPiSoft Official Custom Board removes the JST connector, Dupont wires and buck converter from the list.

How do you download and flash the image?

You download the image for your exact board from the AdoPiSoft downloads page, then flash it to the SD card with Balena Etcher. Each board has its own image, so the Ado Piso WiFi download must match your hardware.

  1. Open the downloads page on adopisoft.com and pick your board’s AdoPiSoft Software Images file.
  2. Install Balena Etcher on your computer.
  3. Insert the SD card through the card reader.
  4. Select the image, select the SD card and start flashing.
  5. When the computer asks to format the card afterwards, cancel the prompt and do not format it.
  6. Eject the card and insert it into the board.

You do not need to reflash to update the software. Open System, then Software Updates, and use Check For Updates to see the latest version and its changes. Install Version also lists older releases if you need to go back to an old version. A Remote Debian File is only used when AdoPiSoft sends you a file link, and the machine needs a reboot after any update.

Which boards does AdoPiSoft run on?

AdoPiSoft runs on Raspberry Pi, Orange Pi and several other boards, and there is also a PC version for x64 computers. AdoPiSoft’s hardware guide and downloads page list these models.

Board familyModels listedNotes
Raspberry Pi3, 3B+, 4 and 5The Raspberry Pi 3 is used in AdoPiSoft’s own DIY guide
Orange PiOne, PC, One Plus, Zero, Zero 3, 5, 5 Plus and 5 ProOne, PC, One Plus and Zero use the same coin slot pins as Raspberry Pi
Other boardsAsus Tinker Board, NanoPi R2S, Newifi 3 D-2The Newifi D2 can also serve as the VLAN access point
PC versionx64 PC, Ubuntu ServerFor owners who want an x86 machine
Android TV BoxListed in the hardware guideCheck the downloads page for your model

Flash the image made for your exact board. Hardware Settings should match it too, because picking the wrong board affects the Device ID and GPIO pins.

How do you set up the VLAN and router?

You set up the VLAN and router by picking one of the two methods AdoPiSoft documents. The supported boards have a single LAN port, so the access point either shares it through VLAN or gets its own port through a USB-to-LAN adapter. The Ado Piso WiFi VLAN setup needs a VLAN-capable access point, while USB to LAN works with simpler ones.

VLAN optionUSB to LAN option
Access pointTP-Link EAP110 or Newifi D2TP-Link EAP110 or Comfast CF-EW73
Key settingVLAN ID 22DHCP disabled on the Comfast
Extra hardwarePoE adapter, and a switch hub for modems without VLANUSB-to-LAN adapter and PoE adapter

For the TP-Link EAP110, log in at 192.168.0.254, rename the SSID and enable VLAN with VLAN ID 22. Then set a static IP with DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. The Newifi D2 needs OpenWRT and AdoPiSoft’s VLAN backup file, after which it broadcasts the AdoPiSoft Hotspot 5G and 2.4G SSIDs.

On the machine, the Network menu holds VLAN Setup, Interfaces and Bridges. For longer range, owners add a CPE antenna as the access point.

What does the wiring diagram show?

The Ado Piso WiFi diagram shows how the coin slot, power adapter and board connect, wire by wire. Unplug the power before wiring anything, then set the coin slot’s switches to FAST and NO. The coin slot’s power side is labeled DC12V, COIN, GND and COUNTER, and its SET pin connects to the board through the JST lead.

Coin slot pinWireConnects to
DC12VRedDC jack positive
GNDBlackDC jack negative
COINWhiteBoard Pin 3
SETJST leadBoard Pin 11
Gray wireNot usedRemove it

AdoPiSoft’s wiring guide uses Pin 3 and Pin 11 on the Raspberry Pi and on the Orange Pi One, PC, One Plus and Zero. In the panel, the GPIO Pin for Coin Acceptor setting must match the pin the white wire uses.

Relay settings apply only to power-cut wiring, where a relay stops fake pulses before a coin drops. You set the Relay Delay, the Relay GPIO Pin and Active High under Payment Portals. AdoPiSoft’s blog also shows a coin slot wiring option without a relay.

How do you reset or reflash the machine?

You reset or reflash the machine by flashing a fresh image with Balena Etcher, then restoring your settings from a backup. A reflash fixes corrupted software or a machine that will not boot, while a damaged SD card needs replacing with a new genuine one.

  1. If the machine still boots, open System, then Backup/Restore, and back up the Database, Captive Portal and System Settings.
  2. Save the backup file on your computer. If the machine will not boot, use your last saved backup instead.
  3. Flash the image again with Balena Etcher.
  4. Boot the machine and log in with admin and admin.
  5. Restore your backup, including Admin Accounts, Network Settings and Plugin Data if you need them.
  6. Re-activate the license in Device Information, using your key from AdoPiSoft Manager.

To reflash Ado Piso WiFi without losing your work, keep a recent backup. Without one, all settings are wiped and rates, vouchers and sales history return to blank, so we recommend a fresh backup after every big change.

How do you add a sub vendo?

You add a sub vendo by connecting a wireless coin slot to your main machine, then giving it its own rates in Advance SubVendos. A sub vendo lets you place a second coin slot in another spot, such as across the store or next door.

  1. Open Payment Portals and find Wireless Payment Portals.
  2. Copy the Security Token into your controller, such as a NodeMCU.
  3. Turn on Open (auto-accept) connections so the sub vendo finds the main machine.
  4. Power the sub vendo and check that it appears under Connected Wireless Coinslots.
  5. Create a rates profile for it in Wifi Rates.
  6. Buy sub vendo credit, which costs USD 7.07, so it can run separate rates.
  7. Open Advance SubVendos and give it a name, its rates profile, its payment portal and an IP address range.

Each sub vendo then reports its own sales. Sales Inventory filters sales by coin slot, so you can see which spot earns more.

How much is an Ado Piso WiFi license?

An Ado Piso WiFi license costs USD 16.99 for Lite, or USD 65.99 regular or USD 10 per year for Business. You pay in US dollars through PayPal after creating an AdoPiSoft account.

LicensePriceLimits
LiteUSD 16.99Up to 50 users and 1 admin
Business, recurringUSD 10 per yearRenews every year
Business, regularUSD 65.99Full Business license
Sub vendo creditUSD 7.07For a sub vendo with separate rates

Every machine starts on a trial, so you can test the setup before you pay. Owners who want to start without a license can use the free Community Edition instead.

Compare any reseller quote with the official ado wifi price on adopisoft.com before you pay. Buy through your own AdoPiSoft account, because that is where your license key lives and where transfers to a new board happen.

How does the Lite license differ from Business?

The Lite license differs from Business mainly in scale. AdoPiSoft Lite, which owners also search as AdoLite, allows up to 50 users and 1 admin, while Business is the full license.

LiteBusiness
UsersUp to 50No cap stated
Admins1No cap stated
License termNot statedPerpetual on v5, yearly on v6 with the first year included

Lite suits a single small vendo that stays under 50 users and is run by one person. Owners who expect more customers or want a helper with their own login are better off with Business from day one.

How do you activate a license key?

You activate a license key in Quick Start, under Device Information, once the trial ends and the machine shows Trial Expired. The key comes from your AdoPiSoft Manager account.

  1. Open AdoPiSoft Manager and go to the License Keys tab.
  2. Copy an unused license key.
  3. Log in to the machine at 10.0.0.1/admin.
  4. Open Quick Start, then Device Information.
  5. Paste the key into the License Key field.
  6. Enter your Manager account email and password.
  7. Tap Activate.

The email and password in step 6 are your AdoPiSoft Manager login, not the machine’s admin password. Once the key is accepted, the machine keeps its full features, and you activate Ado Piso WiFi the same way after a reflash.

What does the Ado Piso WiFi app do?

The Ado Piso WiFi app is AdoPiSoft Manager, an owner app for licenses and machines. It runs on the web at manager.adopisoft.com and on Android as the Google Play app com.adopisoft.monitor.

Customers do not need the app. They pay and pause in the portal at 10.0.0.1, while the Manager app is for owners only.

The app signs in with the same Ado Piso WiFi account you use to buy licenses. It holds your License Keys and your machines list, and you use it for license transfer to a new board or to revoke a key from a board you no longer use.

How do you fix common Ado Piso WiFi problems?

Most common Ado Piso WiFi problems come from the network, the coin slot or the SD card, and each one has a quick check. If only one customer has trouble, the cause is usually their phone. If everyone does, the cause sits with the machine or the internet. Start with the problem that matches what you see.

  • The portal will not open. The phone is on the wrong network, on mobile data or a VPN, or the machine is still booting. Join the vendo’s WiFi, turn off mobile data and VPN, and wait a few minutes after a restart.
  • Coins are not registering. Dirt, loose wiring or the wrong GPIO pin is the usual cause, so clean the slot and check the white wire.
  • Coins give the wrong credit. The pulse settings do not match the coins, so recalibrate them in Payment Portals.
  • A customer’s device is blocked. It hit the insert coin max limit, so unblock it in Wifi Devices.
  • The internet is down for all users. Check Internet Status and WAN Information on the dashboard, then the ISP, modem or ONT.
  • The SD card is full. Use Expand Storage on the dashboard.
  • The SD card is corrupted. Reflash the image and restore your last backup, or replace the card if it is damaged.
  • Pins or Device ID look wrong. The wrong board is picked in Hardware Settings, so select the board that matches your image.

System Logs list recent errors, which helps when the dashboard looks normal but something still fails. When you troubleshoot, change one setting at a time and test after each. Owners who change several settings at once often cannot tell which one fixed or broke the machine.

Is Ado Piso WiFi worth it for a piso wifi business?

Ado Piso WiFi is worth it for small piso wifi business owners who want coins, vouchers and e-load in one system. In October 2026, AdoPiSoft’s homepage listed a community of 35.5K members. That gives owners a large group to ask through the forum, wiki and Facebook group, plus the official distributors.

The value comes from the features owners use every day. Auto-pause protects customers’ paid minutes when their phones disconnect, and vouchers, e-load and sub vendos all run from the same panel.Entry starts free on the Community Edition, with paid licenses for owners who outgrow it.

The trade-offs are worth knowing before you buy. Lite stops at 50 users, and AdoPiSoft’s DIY build guide carries a disclaimer for hardware damage. If wiring is new to you, we recommend asking an official distributor for help before you build.

FAQs

What is the Ado Piso WiFi password?

The Ado Piso WiFi password is set by the owner in Built-in Wifi, or left unset. If the network asks for one, ask the owner.

Ado Piso WiFi pauses automatically when the owner enables auto-pause, freezing time once your device disconnects or goes idle. It resumes after your device reconnects.

Ado Piso WiFi sessions continue after a reboot when the owner enables Automatically continue sessions after reboot. Customers then keep their remaining time without restarting anything.

You can get Ado Piso WiFi remote access through Network, then Remote Management, using an ngrok Authtoken. The Remote URL changes, so check Endpoints in ngrok.

The official AdoPiSoft website is adopisoft.com. It hosts the software images, setup guides, license prices and links to the AdoPiSoft blog, forum and Manager account.

Ado Piso WiFi is secure enough when owners change the default admin password and turn on DNS Tunneling, Pass Code and ARP Spoofing Protection.

Final Thoughts

Ado WiFi comes down to one address and two roles. Customers use 10.0.0.1 to pay, pause and resume, while owners use 10.0.0.1/admin to run rates, vouchers and the machine itself. Building a new vendo takes a supported board, a coin slot and an AdoPiSoft license, starting at USD 16.99 once the trial ends.

In practice, most trouble comes from small things. Customers lose minutes by forgetting to pause, using a voucher without pause, or staying on mobile data. Owners lose money by leaving admin and admin unchanged, skipping backups, or wiring the coin slot to the wrong pin.

Pause only works within the owner’s limits, so tap it yourself instead of relying on auto-pause. Shops under 50 users can start on Lite, while bigger shops and owners with a helper fit Business better. If you are a customer, bookmark 10.0.0.1 and tap pause before you walk away. If you are an owner, change the default password today and make your first backup in Backup/Restore.
